Not only will players have fun matching pictures, but they also hear the word spoken by another child and see the spelling. Kids can start learning how to read and speak early vocabulary at the same time. By age 3, normative data suggests that children understand and are using a broad range of vocabulary including pronouns, action words, and emotions which was considered when selecting the vocabulary for this app. This version features a boy speaking the sounds to further engage the child s sense of play. The FULL VERSION also allows players the option to start with 1, 2 or 3 stacks of pieces giving the child more or less choices to select from. This alphabet app was developed by a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with 16 years experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and a 15 year veteran of the video game industry.
